On Monday, airline and cruise stocks collectively declined, with United Airlines (UAL.US) dropping over 7%, Delta Air Lines (DAL.US) and American Airlines (AAL.US) falling more than 6%; Carnival Cruise (CCL.US) declined over 8%, and Royal Caribbean Cruises (RCL.US) dropped over 6%. In terms of news, international oil prices surged briefly, with Brent crude futures rising over 10% to $102.45 per barrel; WTI crude futures increased over 11% to $100.88 per barrel. Previously, French Finance Minister Roland Lescure stated that the G7 has not yet reached a consensus on releasing oil reserves.
