Mars Finance reports that according to Gate Market Data, the U.S. stock market opened sharply lower, with the three major indices down significantly. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 1%, the S&P 500 declined 0.87%, and the Nasdaq dropped 0.86%. Technology stocks continued to be under pressure, with Intel (INTC.O) down 1.7% and AMD (AMD.O) down 1.6%.
