Dr Reddy’s Laboratories has acquired the trademarks Progynova and CycloProgynova and related assets in India from Mercury Pharma Group Ltd for $32.15 million. This acquisition strengthens Dr Reddy’s gynaecology portfolio and marks its entry into the hormone replacement therapy (HRT) segment, with Progynova being a leading brand in its category in India. The deal is expected to enhance Dr Reddy’s presence in premium gynaecology therapies.
