In his post from this morning, President Trump wrote that he finished an excellent telephone conversation with President Xi. It was a long, thorough call covering a bunch of key topics. They talked about trade, military matters, the April trip President Trump is planning to make to China (Trump says he's really looking forward to it!), Taiwan, the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, the current situation with Iran, China's purchases of oil and gas from the United States, and even more agricultural products.

Specifically, China is considering bumping up their soybean purchases to 20 million tons for this season, and they've already committed to 25 million tons for next season. They also discussed airplane engine deliveries and a whole lot of other subjects, all of which came across as very positive.
