Overview of Aster Coin
Aster coin is the native cryptocurrency of the Aster ecosystem. Aster is a decentralized exchange that allows users to trade cryptocurrencies on-chain, combined with various reward models.
Aster supports futures and spot trading. In the reward mode, users can use income-generating assets as collateral to earn passive income.
Trading Modes
1001x Simple Mode allows users to perform leveraged trading with one click. Its name comes from some assets supporting up to 1001x leverage. Pro mode provides an advanced order book-based interface for perpetual futures.
How Aster Works
As a decentralized exchange, Aster offers multiple functions on a single platform.
Simple Mode is based on a shared liquidity pool model. Users providing ALP liquidity can act as liquidity providers. The system uses decentralized oracles to ensure transparency and prevent price manipulation.
Pro Mode is based on an order book system. Orders that are not immediately filled are called pending orders, while immediately filled orders are called market orders.
Pro mode offers two types of orders:
Hidden Orders: The trading size and assets are not visible in the order book before execution, minimizing market impact
Grid Trading: Executes multiple limit orders within a predetermined price range to profit from market fluctuations
