12-Year-Old Whale Awakens: Moves 909 BTC at a Cost of Only Dozens of Dollars

Abstract generation in progress

【BitPush】A Bitcoin whale that has been dormant for 12 years has just become active.

According to on-chain data tracking, this old wallet, which started accumulating coins in late 2012 to early 2013, has recently awakened. In just the past 6 hours, it transferred a total of 909.38 BTC, which is approximately $84.62 million at current prices.

Interestingly, the cost basis of this Bitcoin is extremely low. When this wallet accumulated these coins back then, the price of Bitcoin was still hovering between $50 and $100. From then until now, this asset has appreciated by over a thousand times.

The movements of such long-term holders often attract market attention. After experiencing long cycles of bear and bull markets, any action by these long-term accumulators may signal something about the market—either profit-taking before a top or a new strategic layout for the future.

Damn, this guy is making a killing here. The cost was only a few tens of dollars, now it's over 80 million. I need to think about what I was doing 12 years ago... Is this to dump or to lay out a plan? I really can't figure it out. Oh my god, I bought BTC at 50 bucks. Why didn't I live in that era? I heard that when these old whales make a move, the market trembles. Need to keep a close eye on it. Is this a top signal? Or does this guy just want to move his fingers? I just want to know if there's a person or an institution behind this wallet... Appreciating thousands of times is indeed impressive, but the problem is, how much can he dump now? When these 909 coins are sold, how many settlement orders will be needed? No, how is this even possible? It's been a whole 12 years since I last touched it. Anxious. When such a whale revives, I know the market is about to turn.

909 BTC just moved quietly like that? But on the other hand, should I sell the coins I bought 12 years ago for $50... I don't understand, but I'm deeply shocked.

Twelve years of silence, and now it's time to start telling the story? This on-chain relic awakening is often more insightful than any analyst report. The cost of a few dozen dollars up to now... truly feels like witnessing a genesis document validated by time. But transferring 909 coins, to be honest, is a bit restrained. If I really wanted to cash out, I would have done it long ago.
