When it comes to KOLs, the significance of three characters is actually very heavy. Key Opinion Leader, the core ability is one—dare to call signals.

What does it mean to not dare to call signals? It’s equivalent to having no opinions at all. Since there are no opinions, why still act like a KOL here? Being untrustworthy makes you just an empty shell.

The founder is even more so. Their own product must be defended like a headless beast, unconditionally spreading this set of ideas. Ideally, it should be a highly controversial idea—controversy proves you’re really speaking the truth, not just following the crowd.

Afraid of being criticized? Then don’t play. This industry is not suitable for you at all. True opinion leaders are never those who come because they have the loudest voice, but because they dare to say what others dare not say.

That's true, but now there are fake KOLs everywhere, and signal calls are just so-so.

This logical flaw is too significant. Calling signals ≠ having opinions; in fact, it's the most basic form of expression. True influence should be built on mechanism design and long-term credibility, not on extreme statements to create controversy. Aren't there many KOLs in history who have "spoken out" and faced backlash?

Not daring to call signals, then don't get involved in the crypto circle --- This theory sounds great, but what about reality? --- Daring to call ≠ always right, there are plenty of failed KOLs --- Is controversy the same as telling the truth? Then pyramid scheme leaders should also be considered opinion leaders --- Not all silence is hypocrisy; sometimes it's caution --- Defending your product with a dead-head approach, isn't that just self-hype? --- Being criticized is inevitable, but having clear logic and knowing how to respond are two different things --- In fact, those who can resist shouting blindly are the ones with real substance --- This article is just encouraging KOLs to boast, no wonder the crypto circle gets hacked every day

This set of arguments sounds pretty good, but in reality, how many dare to really bet their fortune?

Uh, this theory sounds great, but in reality, those who really call the shots have gone bankrupt from losses.

That's correct, but currently 99% of KOLs are just shells, only following the trend and calling signals, hardly anyone dares to operate in the opposite direction.
