#Strategy加仓BTC has been navigating the crypto world for 8 years. Today, I want to share some interesting insights with you—those seemingly counterintuitive but truly life-saving patterns.

Born in the 80s, from Fujian, now settled in Shanghai. Starting with just 10,000 yuan, I’ve grown my portfolio to eight figures. I’m not bragging; I just want to tell you that there’s nothing special about my background, no insider information, and definitely no magical luck. The only thing I did right was: living longer than others using the most primitive methods.

People often ask me, why can some people keep making money in this market, while others disappear after just one cycle? The answer is simple—understanding the market rhythm and controlling your greed.

The following 6 points are things I have repeatedly verified through over 2900 days and nights. They’re not complicated, but each one is valuable.

**Rapid rise followed by slow decline isn’t necessarily a sign of a top.** When prices suddenly surge and then gradually correct, it’s usually the main players shaking out their positions, transferring holdings. Don’t be scared by the surface.

**A slow rise after a flash crash often hides risks.** It sounds counterintuitive, but after a sharp drop, if the price gradually climbs, it may look like an opportunity to buy cheap. In reality, it’s often the final stage of the big players offloading. The mindset of "It’s already fallen so much" can kill you.

**High trading volume at a top doesn’t necessarily mean dead end.** When the price hits a high point, if the volume still supports it, the battle is ongoing; what you should really be cautious of is a sudden drop in trading activity at the high—this eerie "silence" often signals an imminent big fall.

**A large bullish candle at the bottom can’t fool people, but it also can’t fool everyone.** The true bottom is never achieved overnight. Several days or even weeks of gentle volume increase indicate genuine accumulation. An isolated big bullish candle? Most likely a fake.

**Watching candlesticks is about understanding the story; watching volume reveals the truth.** Many focus all day on candlestick patterns, but those are just the results. Volume is like an ECG, reflecting the real battle between bulls and bears, the market’s true consensus.

**Choosing to stay still is the mark of a true expert.** Holding no position is not shameful—it’s a choice. Not chasing highs or selling lows shows discipline; not being controlled by FOMO shows confidence. When you can see clearly, hold steady, and also let go in the face of market swings, trading truly begins to work for you.

Over the years, I’ve only done real trading, no hype, no pie-in-the-sky promises. What I share are real experiences that can help you survive in the market.

Volume is the real indicator, this statement hits home. I used to rely solely on candlestick charts to tell stories to myself, but after being repeatedly caught in the rebound after a flash crash, I finally understand—it's the accelerated curve of the market maker's final distribution. But I want to ask, when you mention "gentle volume increase," what specific period of volume breakout are you referring to? Because I find it difficult to define the standard for volume at the bottom, especially in highly volatile coins. Sometimes, the daily volume is large, but the next day it fizzles out. In such cases, how should one judge whether it's a true bottom or a false breakout? Have you ever encountered situations in live trading where "pulsed" volume misleadingly signals a breakout?

The part about trading volume is really on point; too many people are fooled by candlestick charts. I used to be the same, watching patterns and drawing trend lines every day, but I still got trapped. It wasn't until later that I realized that trading volume is the real vote with genuine money. Those strange quiet periods with no volume at high levels are indeed frightening; I suffered losses from this last year. You mentioned that a quick rebound after a flash crash is even more heartbreaking. Several of my old brothers have been killed by the psychology of "it's already fallen so much." For this BTC increase, are you truly investing with real money or waiting for volume and price confirmation?

Exactly right, especially that line "Choosing not to move is the true expert," I deeply resonate with it. I used to chase highs and get caught several times because I couldn't control my hands, but I later realized that holding a vacant position is actually the fastest way to make money. The analogy about trading volume is also spot on; many times, looking at candlesticks feels like being deceived, but once the trading volume appears, the truth is exposed.

There are indeed quite a few valuable insights, but I have some doubts about the part where it slowly rises after the second flash crash. Do manipulators really unload their holdings so sluggishly? Usually, they just dump and run, right? Conversely, continuous gentle volume buildup is more likely to be mistaken for a trap to lure more buyers, which I've seen too many times in the past two years. You're right about the trading volume, but just looking at the volume without considering on-chain data always feels like something is missing.

Talking about trading volume is spot on; it's much more useful than most people focusing on candlestick charts.
