There are new developments in the technical optimization of the Ethereum ecosystem. Recently, the main developers proposed an interesting idea — to give Ethereum a "big cleanup."

The core issue is quite straightforward: the protocol code is becoming increasingly bloated, accumulating many features that are no longer in use. The solution is also quite practical — to clean up those legacy elements, migrate unnecessary logic to smart contracts, and simplify the gas fee calculation model. It sounds simple, but in reality, it’s about "slimming down" the entire network.

The head of the Solana ecosystem also expressed support for this approach, emphasizing that continuous iteration and optimization are necessary. In the rapidly evolving blockchain industry, the ability to continuously improve technical infrastructure is key to long-term competitiveness.

Although these technical improvements may not be immediately noticeable to users, they are very important for long-term network efficiency and scalability.

Ethereum is finally starting to perform surgery, and this should have been done a long time ago. The code is as bloated as my wallet... full of useless stuff.

Finally, someone is starting to do this. Ethereum is bloated beyond belief, and Gas fees are simply outrageous. But real implementation is another matter altogether...

Finally, someone is going to cut Ethereum down to size. Its bloated appearance is hard to watch.

ngl, this is what separates the veterans from the altseason noise. ethereum finally doing the real maintenance work nobody talks about at parties. reminds me of those early mining days when we had to optimize every byte... protocol bloat kills everything eventually. respect the discipline here.
