SEI Giga is on the horizon, and it's shaping up to be transformative.

The SIP-3 upgrade marks a critical milestone in SEI's evolution. Here's what's actually happening:

→ Finalization phase is incoming - the groundwork is being laid
→ Full EVM-only execution is the chosen path forward
→ Mid-2026 timeline gives us a concrete target

What makes this matter? We're looking at a parallelized blockchain architecture designed for speed and throughput. The shift to full EVM-only execution could unlock significant developer adoption and ecosystem compatibility, while the parallel processing model aims to eliminate traditional blockchain bottlenecks.

The technical execution here is what separates serious infrastructure from noise. Don't sleep on the velocity advantage - this could be a game-changer for the projects building on top of it.

Parallel processing really has to be implemented to count; just talking about it nicely is useless.

Wait a minute, that's still about 2026. It's a bit too early to be hyping this now.

Really, it won't land until mid-2026? That's going to be a long wait... If SEI can really handle parallel processing this time, it would be impressive, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. The EVM compatibility is genuinely developer-friendly, but I'm just worried it's another PPT promise. Let's wait and see the actual performance. 2026... I might have already gone all-in on other projects by then, haha. These big promises sound very appealing, but ultimately, it's the code and data that matter.

ngl sei, this wave really shouldn't be underestimated, and the parallel architecture has handled the throughput, but that's probably the limit. Wait, mid-2026? Do we have to wait that long... EVM-only execution... another bandwagon, but it does attract developers, that's for sure.

EVM-only execution sounds good, but I'm more concerned about the real performance data that can be implemented... Still have to wait until 2026.

Hmm... EVM-only is probably to please developers, but only real implementation of parallel processing will count. --- Mid-2026? We've been waiting until next year; maybe we should first see if it can run stably. --- The parachain architecture has been hyped for so long; now we're just waiting to see who dares to build on it. --- Velocity advantage sounds good, but I wonder if the TPS can match those established public chains. --- Feels like another "technological upgrade"; without a thriving ecosystem, it's all for nothing. --- EVM compatibility is a very common approach; the key is whether the ecosystem is willing to invest money into it.
