Some people have asked about my shift in focus lately, and I'll answer with Richard Feynman's insight:

"If you can't reduce it to the freshman level, you don't really understand it"

It's that straightforward. I'm working to truly master the fundamentals—not just knowing concepts, but being able to execute them cleanly. That's where real understanding lives.

Getting back to the basics is a good point, but there are very few who can truly stick with it.

Well, there's nothing wrong with that statement; Feynman is right. Those who truly understand can explain it simply.

Back to basics, damn it. It's like I just realized now—before, I was all-in on various projects, but I never really understood the mechanisms. I was just thinking about freeloading and quickly getting my investment back. And what happened? A bunch of zeroed out accounts. Now I'm starting to catch up on the lessons, for sure.

NGL, Feynman's words really hit me. How many people are just fooling themselves?

Feynman's words are brilliant: true understanding is being able to explain complex things simply.

Feynman was right, but very few people can actually do it.
