#$RIVER #LIGHT闪崩 On the second day of the new year, I once again experienced a glorious liquidation. Let me explain what happened. On the 29th, I deposited 5000, and by the 31st, it had grown to around 7700. Throughout, I strictly followed take-profit and stop-loss rules and was not greedy, just focusing on making a profit. Then yesterday, on the 1st, I went short on Light, got overconfident, and my principal nearly got liquidated, leaving about 1000. Light then plunged, and my capital reached 10,000. At this point, I was still thinking that luck played a big role here and I hadn’t strictly enforced stop-losses, which made me overconfident. This is very dangerous because every time I lose money in trading, it’s because of this overconfidence, and I’ve never been able to change that. From now on, I must strictly follow the rules. At that time, I also had an open position on River. I thought a small profit was enough, but I didn’t expect it to keep rising. I hadn’t yet recovered from my overconfidence and kept adding to my position, which halved my principal back to 5000. Then I started analyzing this coin’s trend, hoping to recover losses. As I predicted, by the morning, it started to fall, and I went to sleep. I woke up once during that time, and my capital had returned to 9000. That’s when I became greedy. I should have taken profits then, but I didn’t. Now I wish I could slap myself. Tonight, the price hovered between 7000 and 8000. I sensed something was wrong and posted an update. I was considering switching to a long position, but I was stubborn. I canceled stop-loss twice during the process, and I also made two small ETH trades, both small profits. But I was greedy again, and in the end, I lost on both trades. Finally, River accurately liquidated me. I knew this might happen, but I ignored the signs, which led to my glorious liquidation once again.
Now, I’ve reflected on myself. I still haven’t strictly followed stop-loss rules, and I am very prone to overconfidence and greed. The disconnect between knowledge and action is the main reason for this liquidation. Also, the so-called “Shima” clone seems to be designed based on human nature—so unbelievable.
In the end, I feel sorry for myself once again, especially for my parents. I will take a few days off. I swear this will be the last time I get liquidated.
