Recently, many people have been asking the same question: When will mainstream coins finally rise?
Can you say that low market cap coins have no prospects? Many established projects are valued at only a few times PE, and some even have a market cap lower than their historical highs. These coins are clearly undervalued, so why is no one interested?
The reason is straightforward—funds are now all pouring into emerging sectors. Look at sectors like AI concepts, Layer2, modular chains—each more aggressive than the last, with explosive popularity. Market money seems to be growing legs and rushing here. People are copying emerging sectors, which in essence is not a problem; what they are optimistic about is high growth potential.
So when will mainstream coins have a chance? Just wait and see—the moment the hype around emerging sectors dissipates.
One day, everyone will wake up and realize that many new projects are just "hype bubbles"—lacking real revenue support, and ecological applications haven't been fully developed. Funds will inevitably start to flow out. When that happens, the market's focus will shift back, and attention will turn to those overlooked mainstream coins.
This is the market's "see-saw" effect—simply put, it's the "herd mentality": where the herd goes, the grass is first to be grazed. Right now, the herd is rushing toward new concepts, so mainstream coins naturally get ignored. When the herd turns around someday, the coins that have fallen behind will see a reversal.

No problem with that. Right now, AI and Layer2 are dominating the scene, and mainstream coins are indeed being overlooked.
Once the bubble in new tracks bursts, the money will naturally flow back into BTC and ETH. That's destiny.

Basically, it's just chasing the hype. Nowadays, no one cares about mainstream coins; everyone is into AI and Layer2. Once this wave of hype dies down, the mainstream coins will make a comeback.

It's that same old seesaw theory again, tired of hearing it, just wait.
Instead of gambling on old coins with a gambler's mentality, it's better to go all-in on new concepts.
How long do we have to wait for a reversal? The yellow flowers have already withered.
Mainstream coins being neglected is deserved; after all, they lack hot topics.
By the time we wake up, the black swan will have already flown away.

The herd mentality is really clever, but the problem is, who knows when the sheep will turn around?

nah this is just governance theater dressed up as market dynamics. the real vulnerability? mainchains can't even fork efficiently when sentiment shifts. watch the protocol economics collapse first, then maybe we talk about your precious altseason rotation.

Currently, new coins are indeed more popular than mainstream coins, but the question is, when will be "that day"? Can't wait any longer.
