The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (#CFTC ) has approved the real-time trading of cryptocurrencies 🚀 in the United States.
For the first time, digital currencies such as #Bitcoin and #Ethereum can be traded in real-time on federally regulated U.S. exchanges.
Acting Chair Caroline Pham called this decision "historic" because it provides strong protections and brings cryptocurrencies into the regulated financial system.
This marks a significant step forward for digital assets in terms of clarity, regulation, and mainstream legitimacy.
