Odaily Planet Daily News: Metis decentralized coordinator Natalia Ameline released a community letter today, outlining the project’s core strategic direction for 2026. The letter emphasizes that as the market transitions from speculation-driven to real applications, Metis will focus on deep integration of AI and high-performance blockchain.

It is reported that Metis has built a unified stack including settlement layer Andromeda, high-performance layer Hyperion, and application data layer LazAI. Andromeda provides transaction fees of approximately $0.01 and confirmation times under two seconds, while Hyperion improves transaction processing capacity by more than 50% through parallel execution. The METIS token has now become the native Gas token of LazAI, achieving a single token economy across the entire ecosystem.

On the application level, CreateAI minted 20,000 works within three hours, while the AI companion DAT Lazbubu whitelist event attracted over 90,000 participants. Payment product GMPayer has enabled autonomous trading by AI agents.
