BPI thúc đẩy miễn thuế cho giao dịch Bitcoin nhỏ nhằm thúc đẩy ứng dụng tiền điện tử

Bitcoin Policy Institute (BPI) đang thúc đẩy đề xuất miễn thuế de minimis cho các giao dịch Bitcoin nhỏ nhằm giảm gánh nặng khai báo thuế và khuyến khích sử dụng tiền điện tử. Tổ chức này đang tập trung vận động chính sách trong khoảng thời gian từ tháng 3 đến tháng 8 – giai đoạn quan trọng của lịch lập pháp tại United States Congress.

BPI đang làm việc với các bên liên quan và nhà lập pháp để xây dựng sự đồng thuận cho dự luật, đồng thời tiến hành vận động hành lang, chiến dịch giáo dục công chúng và hợp tác với các tổ chức trong ngành. Theo BPI, quy định hiện nay khiến cả những giao dịch Bitcoin nhỏ cũng phải báo cáo thuế, gây phức tạp cho người dùng và cơ quan thuế.

Đề xuất mới nhằm đặt ra ngưỡng giá trị giao dịch được miễn thuế, giúp hệ thống thuế thân thiện hơn và giảm thủ tục hành chính. Nếu được thông qua, chính sách này có thể thúc đẩy việc sử dụng Bitcoin trong thanh toán hàng ngày và ảnh hưởng đáng kể đến thị trường tiền điện tử.
