So-called friends are not necessarily those used for deep personal life exchanges. Many times, people joke around, chat idly with friends, and this itself is a form of emotional support. Even without discussing specific personal situations, this relaxed interaction can alleviate inner emptiness and loneliness. It's like at a late-night roadside barbecue stall, a group of people holding beers, talking and laughing loudly, emotionally excited. The topics they discuss may not be very profound, nor necessarily serious or valuable, but that doesn't matter. What matters is that this seemingly casual and even "meaningless" communication is actually a form of companionship. It is this relaxed, burden-free interaction that, to some extent, compensates for their deficiencies and pressures in family, emotional, and even workplace contexts, allowing people to feel a sense of release and connection.
