According to Yonhapinfomax, Policy Director Kim Yong-beom outlined on August 12 a government strategy to connect the country's three major projects in semiconductors, artificial intelligence infrastructure, and physical AI with seven future industries—small modular reactors, nuclear fusion, quantum, advanced biotech, aerospace, renewable energy, and advanced supply chain ecosystems. Kim emphasized that capital and technology generated from current leading industries should flow into future sectors to create a circular growth structure, with semiconductor and AI advances serving as a foundation for emerging technologies.
