Binance Report: Gen Z Traders Accelerate Shift to ETFs, Reaching 25% of Trading Volume in August

According to Binance research as reported by Cointelegraph, Generation Z traders on Binance's platform are increasingly allocating stock trading activity toward ETFs. In early August, ETF trading accounted for 25% of Gen Z traders' total trading volume. In July, ETFs represented 21.9% of the cohort's net stock inflows, up from 18.5% in June, while direct stock allocations declined from 77% to 74.2%. The study analyzed direct stocks, tokenized stocks, and traditional finance perpetual futures, comparing trading frequency, net capital flows, and leverage usage across Gen Z, millennial, Gen X, and baby boomer accounts.
