Solana co-founder and Matter Labs CEO disagree on 'Solana vs ZK: Which is faster'

CoinVoice has learned that Toly, co-founder of Solana, responded to a question from the community, saying, ‘ZK is slower than traditional computing. Therefore, because there are no religious restrictions on the capacity of full nodes, Solana is always faster than ZK.’ In response, Alex Gluchowski, CEO of Matter Labs, the developer of ZKsync, said, ‘ZK is always faster than Solana because it is protected by mathematics rather than validators, which means one or a few validators (for redundancy) are enough, and there is no need to wait for consensus among thousands of nodes.’ [Original Article Link]
