Meet Taipei, Asia’s largest innovation and entrepreneurship carnival, was held from November 30 to December 02, 2023 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, marking its 10th anniversary this year and the first time that CoinW attended the event as a sponsor after its presence in the Taiwan market. On the first day of the event, Man Yeung, Marketing Director of CoinW Asia Pacific, was invited to give a speech on the theme of “Crypto [Treasure], Value Unleashed”.

At the opening ceremony on November 30, the Taiwanese government revealed that it expects to create 20,000 new jobs in five years, with an annual investment of more than NT$150 billion, and become a net exporter of innovative solutions in the Asia-Pacific region in the next 10 years.

In addition, a total of 130 countries (98% of the global economy) are currently exploring a digital version of their currency (CDBC), which could reach up to 2.4 billion people to adopt cryptocurrencies. These are all new opportunities for the industry in the near future.

It is understood that this year’s 10th Meet Taipei with the theme of “The Future of the Future” brought together more than 500 exhibitors, as well as more than 300 online exhibitors, as well as government units such as the National Development Council, the Digital Industry Administration, the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Administration, and the Stock Exchange. This year’s event is not only the largest number of speakers in history, but also the most internationalized, inviting representatives from different fields such as Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, and the United States to have wonderful dialogues on trends, investment and youth entrepreneurship, looking forward to finding the direction for the next decade of innovation and entrepreneurship.
