Tether Dominates Brazil’s Crypto Market Transactions

Stablecoin Tether (USDT) has acquired significant traction in Brazil. It represents 80% of the country’s cryptocurrency transactions.

USDT transactions in Brazil reached $271 billion Brazilian reais, surpassing Bitcoin transactions. Brazil’s revenue service firm uses advanced AI-based tracking to monitor crypto activities and recently charged taxes on overseas crypto investments.
