Just caught a large short-selling operation—some whale completed a short position of 5,000 ETH within two hours, involving as much as $15.66 million.
The operation path is very clear: first, borrowed 5,000 ETH from the Aave protocol, then split into two transfers—4,000 ( (about $12.49 million )) flowed into Binance, and another 1,044 ( ($3.26 million )) went to another exchange.
What's interesting is the follow-up move. Not long after the ETH was deposited, 40 minutes ago this address withdrew $12.45 million USDT from Binance. The timing is so precise that it's almost certain the sell-off and cash-out have been completed. From borrowing to selling, the entire process was seamless.
If ETH continues to drop after this operation, his profit margin will be quite substantial. Of course, the premise is that he can buy back the coins at a suitable price to repay them.

Damn, that's quite a move. Borrow and immediately dump—it takes real artistry to time it this perfectly.

Same old trick again: borrowing coins to dump and profit from the price difference, a seasoned player.

Same old trick again: borrowing coins to dump and cash out, a classic whale dumping on retail investors. The key is the timing—cashing out 12.45 million USDT in one go. This guy is really bold.

Another whale is playing tricks again. This technique is really slick—he dumped 15.66 million in just two hours. I just want to know how this guy has so much confidence to borrow that many coins to short?

Another one? Is this whale really that arrogant, just dumping on the market like that?
This is ruthless—borrowing coins to dump and then withdrawing USDT, doing it so smoothly.
Smooth as silk? Looks more like smooth bleeding... my money.
Wait, withdrawing 12.45 million USDT that quickly? Feels like there’s more to come.
Repaying the loan at a favorable price? What a joke, waiting for that reverse liquidation.
It’s Aave again—shouldn’t the protocol do something about this?
Again? All my LP got rekt.
You can tell from the process this isn’t their first time.
Slap in the face—the whale had already exited long ago.
