4. Market Sentiment – When total crypto market cap surges, it’s bullish sentiment. When it crashes, fear dominates. It’s a mood ring for the entire sector.

5. Opportunity Spotting – Traders watch cap changes to identify breakouts. A coin jumping from #500 to #100 in ranking gets attention for a reason.

The Reality Check

Market cap is just one metric. It doesn’t tell you:
