Next steps for Jasper Vault: From Perpetual Protect (PP) perpetual contract protection to AI Agent trading system

Source: Jasper Vault

In the past few years, the on-chain perpetual contracts market has become increasingly crowded. Lower trading fees, higher leverage, faster trading experiences, and stronger incentives have almost become the common language of Perps DEXs. For users, opening a position is already easy enough; what’s truly difficult is what happens after opening the position.

Sudden price spikes, positions already in floating losses, stop-loss levels repeatedly swept, getting ready to sleep but the position still open. In many cases, users aren’t unable to trade—they just don’t know how to handle the risks during the trading process.

What Jasper Vault wants to keep solving next is this problem: when there are already enough trading entry points, how can ordinary users trade more professionally?

Starting with Perpetual Protect (PP)

Jasper Vault’s most core product is Perpetual Protect—PP perpetual contract protection.

PP’s logic is straightforward: when users trade BTC perpetual contracts, they can simultaneously enable option protection. When going long, the contract keeps the upside gains, and PP provides downside protection; when going short, the contract keeps the downside gains, and PP provides upside protection.

In ordinary contracts, if you take the opposite direction, losses directly affect margin and the liquidation line; but during the PP protection period, the position turns into a combined structure of “contract + option protection.” When the direction is correct, the contract keeps upside room; when the direction is against you in the short term, the option protection provides a buffer.

PP isn’t about making users ignore risk; it makes risk more specific: what the protection cost is, how long the protection lasts, what risks the current position faces, and what the worst-case scenario might be. For Jasper Vault, PP isn’t an isolated feature—it’s the starting point of its subsequent product ecosystem.

Turning institutional-level risk control into tools ordinary users can use

Seasoned traders and professional institutions rarely rely solely on directional judgment when trading. A complete trading system usually includes position management, risk budgeting, hedging tools, protection strategies, and review mechanisms.

But in the past, ordinary contract traders have found it difficult to access these tools with a low barrier. Users can open positions quickly and use high leverage, yet they often can only trade in the most primitive way: if they’re right, they make money; if they’re wrong, they hold on through it; once volatility hits, they’re forced to cut losses or get liquidated.

Jasper Vault aims to complete this missing piece.

It’s not simply copying complex institutional tools and handing them to users. Instead, it turns option protection, scenario-based risk control, AI recommendations, and position reminders into a simpler, more convenient product experience. Users don’t need to first learn complex options parameters, and they don’t need to build their own hedging models—they can use capabilities closer to a professional trading system during the trading process.

If AI Agents are making “one-person companies” possible, then Jasper Vault hopes to do something similar in the trading arena: enabling an ordinary trader to, with the help of system capabilities, have a risk-management approach that’s more like that of a professional trading team.

Innovation should solve real needs

In the crypto market, it isn’t hard to manufacture trading volume. Rewards, leaderboards, volume-pumping activities, and short-term subsidies can all generate impressive data. But whether these data represent real demand—and whether they can keep users—is another question.

Jasper Vault would rather innovate around real trading scenarios. PP solves very specific problems: being afraid of liquidation when you’re asleep, not having time to react to price spikes, having no room to manage floating losses, and getting swept and stopped repeatedly in choppy markets.

Therefore, Jasper Vault does not encourage users to pump volume, trade back and forth, or create meaningless trading bubbles just for points or rewards. Truly valuable usage should come from genuine trading needs: users really need protection, so they use PP; users really need reminders, so they use the Jasper AI Agent; users stay long-term because the product improves their trading experience.

This kind of growth may not be as fast as short-term volume incentives, but it is healthier and more sustainable.

From manual protection to AI Agent-assisted trading

Now that PP is already turning complex option protection into four types of scenarios that are easier for ordinary users to understand: night guard, major loss rescue, emergency shield, and loss-sweep worry-free.

These scenarios aren’t abstract financial concepts; they are situations perpetual contract users face every day: unable to watch the market while sleeping, positions clearly in floating losses, the market suddenly spiking, and choppy conditions where losses get swept repeatedly.

At present, users can choose protection modes based on their circumstances. In the future, this step will become smarter. When market volatility suddenly amplifies, the system can remind users to focus on the emergency shield; when users are preparing to hold positions overnight, it can prompt night guard; when positions enter a clearly floating-loss zone, it can suggest major loss rescue; when the price repeatedly approaches the stop-loss area, it can prompt loss-sweep worry-free.

These reminders aren’t about making decisions for users. Instead, they surface risks that users are likely to overlook ahead of time, reducing cases where people only react after something goes wrong.

This is also Jasper Vault’s understanding of AI Agents: not simply creating an “AI call-trading tool.” There aren’t a shortage of long/short opinions in the market—the really difficult part is the trading process after a signal.

For example, the AI may judge that BTC has upside potential, but the user’s real problems are: Is it suitable to open a long position with no protection right now? Is the current volatility too high? If I open the position, should I pair it with PP? If I pair it with PP, which scenario should I choose? If the position is already in floating losses, should I reassess the risk?

In the future, the Jasper AI Agent will be more like a trading risk assistant rather than a mysterious predictor.

Community and Score Program record real participation

In the future, Jasper Vault will continue to work with KOLs, trading communities, and user education. But a more suitable approach won’t be just simple traffic routing—it will be to integrate PP and AI Agent into real trading methods.

A trading instructor isn’t only telling users, “You can go long BTC here.” They can also further discuss: Is this spot suitable for going long naked? If you plan to hold overnight, should you add night guard? If the market first sweeps a spike downward, should you stop-loss immediately, or use loss-sweep worry-free to leave the position a bit of room?

The Score Program will also continue as part of Jasper Vault’s long-term user system. It’s better understood as a record of behavior rather than a short-term points game. Whether users truly trade, whether they use PP, whether they continuously participate in different scenarios, whether they provide product feedback, and whether they participate in community building—will gradually form a long-term record of each user within the Jasper Vault ecosystem.

This system isn’t designed to encourage mechanical point-farming. It is designed to identify genuine participation.

Jasper Vault’s potential isn’t just about building another Perps DEX

There are already many Perps DEXs in the market. Simply providing another trading entry point isn’t enough to create long-term differentiation.

What Jasper Vault truly wants to open up is a space where options protection, risk management, AI Agents, and a user behavior system are combined into a more complete on-chain trading system.

PP lowers the barrier for using options protection. Jasper AI Agent helps users identify risk states. Score Program records real trading behavior. Scenario-based operations help users understand the tools in specific market conditions. Community and KOL education help users form more mature position-management habits.

Taken together, these point to a longer-term direction: enabling ordinary users not only to open positions on-chain, but also to gradually use more professional trading tools. Beyond higher leverage and faster trading, the on-chain derivatives market also needs new answers. Jasper Vault is bringing institutional-level risk control to ordinary users, from PP protection to AI Agents—making complex risk management simpler. We welcome new users to join in.
