I just came across a fresh Forbes estimate regarding Trump’s net worth, and the figures are truly impressive. According to the latest estimates, his net worth is valued at $6.5 billion, which is $1.4 billion more than a year ago. It’s interesting to see how drastically his financial situation has changed over the past few years.

The cryptocurrency business exploded after his election victory—about $1.8 billion in profit came from this segment. The meme token brought in roughly $393 million, even though its price fell by almost 70% from its peak. World Liberty Financial, his family’s main crypto project, is gaining traction—the volume of token sales has exceeded $1 billion. Even the USD1 stablecoin has started operating. Overall, if you look at the history of his donald trump net worth for 2015, when he was mainly a real-estate developer and casino owner, the cryptocurrency part of his portfolio simply didn’t exist back then.

Real estate remains a serious portion of his capital—about $1.2 billion. Golf clubs and resorts generated solid returns: the operating profit from American golf properties increased from $19 million in 2020 to $66 million in 2024. Mar-a-Lago has become a cash cow—its owner recently said it was the club’s most successful year, thanks to the election campaign.

However, not everything is smooth. Truth Social, the parent company of the social network, continues to post losses—revenue in 2025 was only $3.7 million, with a loss of $712 million. The stock has fallen by more than 80% since it started trading on the exchange, which reduced the value of his stake by about $1.3 billion.

There’s also a licensing business, which after January 2025 went up by $400 million—foreign partners are actively looking to cooperate. In addition, his legal team managed to overturn a $500 million penalty, which also helped.

Interestingly, during his first term he actively sold real estate, but now it seems the strategy has changed. His second term isn’t over yet, so further growth of his wealth by tens of billions doesn’t seem impossible. The cryptocurrency portion of his portfolio is especially dependent on market conditions—if crypto continues to grow, the figures could change significantly.
