Just checked the international gold spot market before US open and it's looking pretty weak right now. Trading volume is hitting a 30-day low in the last 15 minutes, which is not a great sign. The momentum indicator is sitting at just 7%, meaning there's basically no follow-through buying. That's the kind of signal you see when the market's just stuck.

International gold has been struggling to build any real conviction lately. Support at the open is way below where it usually sits on average, so we're not getting the typical institutional backing we'd normally expect. With capital inflows this thin, it feels like everyone's just waiting on the sidelines right now.

The whole setup screams sluggish market conditions. International gold trading has lost its spark, and until we see some real volume come back, I'm not expecting much momentum either direction. Just another day of the market treading water.
