Just noticed Chainlink closed out April with 10 fresh integrations across major platforms including Aave, GMX, and a few others. The Bitwise LINK ETF launching on NYSE is a bigger deal than people realize because it opens the door for retirement accounts to hold LINK directly. That kind of institutional plumbing usually signals the infrastructure layer is getting serious.
The timing is interesting because most crypto to buy now conversations still focus on price recovery, but what's actually moving is adoption. Polygon hit 204 million transactions back in February, and Walmart's OnePay added support in March. POL trades around $0.08 right now, down from its $1.57 peak, so the risk-reward on large-cap infrastructure plays is starting to look reasonable again.
Chainlink sits at $9.03 with staking TVL over $817 million. JPMorgan and UBS are running settlement pilots on it. Both of these feel like the actual crypto to buy now if you're thinking infrastructure, not hype. The projections vary but LINK could realistically move toward $20-30 if adoption keeps accelerating.
There's also noise around some presale tokens trying to position themselves as the next big thing, but honestly most presale projects just repeat the same promises. The ones actually worth watching are the ones already running live tools and showing real adoption metrics, not just talking about future features.
The Fear and Greed index is sitting low, which historically has been when capital rotates into projects with real fundamentals. Infrastructure tokens like LINK and Polygon feel like the smarter play right now compared to chasing the next meme coin. The best crypto to buy now is probably whatever has actual usage, not just hype behind it.
