Avalanche RWA TVL surpasses $1.3 billion, reaching a new high, with institutional-grade tokenized assets accelerating on the chain

January 30 News, Avalanche is becoming an important hub for global institutional tokenized assets. The latest data shows that the total value locked (TVL) of real-world assets (RWA) on the network has surpassed $1.3 billion, reaching a new high, reflecting ongoing institutional and developer focus on this ecosystem.

This milestone indicates a shift in on-chain capital structures. Compared to the previous focus on highly volatile assets, more funds are flowing into tokenized products linked to government bonds, private credit, yield-generating instruments, and other assets. With its fast finality, low transaction costs, and customizable subnets, Avalanche provides issuers with a technical environment that approaches traditional financial standards.

Several asset management institutions have deployed tokenized funds, structured yield products, and private debt instruments on Avalanche. These assets bring off-chain cash flows onto the blockchain, offering investors relatively stable returns and providing more tangible value support for on-chain applications.

Compared to other public chains, Avalanche has clear advantages in scalability and compliance adaptation. Ethereum has a first-mover advantage in the RWA space, but transaction costs and settlement efficiency limit participation for some institutions. Avalanche’s low latency and flexible architecture enable issuers to meet compliance and risk control requirements without sacrificing performance, thus promoting more projects to migrate or deploy across multiple chains.

At the ecosystem level, multiple tokenization platforms and decentralized finance protocols are integrating these RWAs into lending, yield strategies, and liquidation systems, creating deeper capital circulation. As asset scales grow, network liquidity and user engagement are also increasing.

Surpassing $1.3 billion is not the end, but a key milestone in Avalanche’s institutionalization process. Today, more and more financial institutions see it as a reliable on-chain settlement layer rather than just a testing platform. In the future, as regulatory frameworks and product types mature further, Avalanche’s influence in the global tokenized asset landscape still has room for continued expansion.
