BlockBeats news, on November 14, Babylon stated that “the mainnet upgrade has been successfully completed, and two key adjustments to the BABY token economics have taken effect, along with the introduction of a convenient BTC staking extension feature: · The annual inflation rate has decreased from 8% to 5.5%: 250 million fewer BABY coins will be minted each year, achieving a more sustainable token economy. · Introduction of co-staking: Users who stake BTC and BABY simultaneously can receive higher rewards than staking individually. · BTC staking extension feature: Allows BTC stakers to extend the time lock of their existing stake without unlocking it.”
