Cosmos ecosystem wallet Leap Wallet announces it will stop operations on May 28

ATOM-1.68%
Gate News message, on April 3, the Cosmos ecosystem non-custodial wallet Leap Wallet announced that it will stop operations and plans to fully shut down its products and services on May 28. The shutdown scope includes browser extensions, iOS and Android mobile apps, web applications, the Swapfast trading feature, and Cosmos Hub validator node services. Leap Wallet received funding from Terraform Labs in 2021 to launch, and after the Terra ecosystem collapsed, it pivoted into a multi-chain wallet; it currently supports more than 100 blockchain networks. The team reminds users that if they have already delegated ATOM to Leap’s validator nodes, they should re-delegate to other nodes as soon as possible to avoid interruption of staking rewards, and they need to consider the impact of the unbonding period. The project team said that although it is shutting down its products, it still remains optimistic about the long-term development of the crypto industry and cross-chain ecosystem.
