On June 8, 2025, MEET48 announced the official launch of the IDOL airdrop program, which is scheduled to go live on the query platform at 3:00 UTC on June 9, marking an important milestone for MEET48 as it steps into the new era of Web3 entertainment.

This airdrop covers a wide range, including users who have interacted with the MEET48 ecosystem, cooperative communities, contributors, active users of the Mars Protocol, creators, the top three winners of The Mars Audition for for33 and AI-ME, as well as holders of ecosystem tokens. Participants can log in to the airdrop inquiry page using their wallet address, email, or account ID to confirm eligibility and the amount they can claim. The first airdrop will be opened immediately after the TGE, with a claim period of 14 days; any claims after the deadline will be considered automatically forfeited.

The IDOL tokens obtained can be used to participate in the first Web3 Global Idol Annual Popularity Selection (WIPA) voting. According to the official plan, 50% of the airdrop share will be released immediately at TGE, and the remaining portion will be unlocked linearly in 6 installments on a monthly basis starting 6 months later.
