PANews, January 29th - Programmability ledger development company Formance announced the completion of a $21 million Series A financing round, led by Paypal Ventures and Portage, with previous investments from Y Combinator, Hoxton Ventures, and Axeleo. Formance primarily builds the infrastructure for programmability in ledger-based fintech, tracking all assets entering and exiting enterprise accounts. In addition to the ledger products, Formance also has a connecting platform that can integrate financial providers, orchestrate payments, and facilitate transfers across wallets and payment providers using a single API.
