The Central Bank has decided to start printing new banknotes according to the needs. The appearance of the 500 TL and 1000 TL banknotes, which are expected to be released soon, has also begun to clarify.

200 TL VALUE 6 DOLLARS

Research shows that the value of the 200 TL banknote is decreasing day by day. In a recent comparison, the value of the highest banknotes of 20 countries was compared against the dollar, and Turkey ranked 19th. The average value of 200 TL is approximately 6 dollars. This situation creates great challenges for both tourists and traders.

Thanks to the 500 TL and 1000 TL banknotes, more practical shopping and trading are aimed. This development is considered as a positive step for both citizens and tourists. However, as of now, the printing of new banknotes has not yet started. After obtaining approval from the Central Bank, printing process will begin.
