Bitcoin Bull Market Michael Thaler said he would buy Bitcoin "forever."
Former MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor reiterated his strong commitment to Bitcoin in a recent interview with Bloomberg and said he plans to continue buying the Crypto Assets indefinitely.
With his company currently holding less than 200,000 Bitcoins, Thaler's belief seems unshakable.
This happened against the backdrop of the rapid growth of Bitcoin ETFs, which together accumulated more than 700,000 Bitcoin.
Open the floodgates
Saylor said the launch of the Spot Bitcoin ETF was a game-changer for the Crypto Assets market.
These financial instruments provide a much-needed gateway for institutional capital, driving significant investments from the traditional financial ecosystem into the digital economy.
The demand for these new ETFs has consistently exceeded the daily supply of Bitcoin miners, sometimes as high as eight to ten times.
As Thaler describes, this dynamic has contributed to a "very virtuous cycle" that facilitates the digital transformation of capital.
Unshakable faith
Despite the potential for significant paper gains — MicroStrategy's stake is currently worth about $10 billion and a return of about 70% — Saylor remains uninterested in selling.
His reasoning is rooted in the belief that Bitcoin represents the overarching asset class, unlike traditional investments like gold, the S&P and real estate. Thaler argues that Bitcoin's technological advantages make it the ultimate store of value, capable of absorbing capital from other asset classes.
Unlike companies like Apple, Google, and Microsoft, Bitcoin as an asset class has the ability to hold a more Long of capital, potentially as much as $100 trillion, a concept that further reinforces this belief.
This view shows Thaler's strategy of leaning toward accumulating Bitcoin rather than selling Bitcoin. He believes that Crypto Assets are not only an investment, but also a fundamental asset for the economy in the digital age. #比特币新闻 Michael Thaler
