BITCOIN HOLDS NEAR $64,175: IS THE MARKET BUILDING STRENGTH FOR THE NEXT LEG HIGHER?

Bitcoin is currently trading around $64,175, remaining resilient after its recent recovery from the July low near $61,320. Although the market has eased from the recent swing high around $65,600, the pullback has been controlled rather than aggressive. Instead of signaling a trend reversal, the current price action reflects healthy consolidation as buyers continue defending higher support levels.

Following a strong recovery over the past two weeks, Bitcoin now sits at an important technical decision point. The next breakout—or breakdown—could determine the market's direction heading into the final weeks of July.

THE RECOVERY STRUCTURE REMAINS INTACT

The rebound from $61,320 changed Bitcoin's short-term market structure considerably. Buyers stepped in aggressively after the capitulation low, driving price higher by nearly 7% before encountering profit-taking around $65,600.

Since then, Bitcoin has avoided a sharp correction and continues forming higher lows. This is one of the strongest characteristics of a healthy uptrend. Rather than collapsing after resistance, the market is allowing momentum to cool while maintaining most of its recent gains.

If buyers continue defending current levels, this consolidation could become the foundation for another bullish expansion.

MOVING AVERAGES STILL FAVOR THE BULLISH CASE

The 4-hour technical structure continues supporting buyers.

Current moving averages remain closely aligned:

• MA5 near $64,655
• MA10 around $64,404
• MA30 close to $64,334

Bitcoin is currently trading slightly below the MA5 but continues holding around the MA10 and above the MA30. This suggests short-term momentum has slowed, yet the broader recovery remains technically healthy.

As long as price remains above the $64,300-$64,400 support zone, buyers continue holding the advantage.

MACD SIGNALS MOMENTUM IS REBUILDING

Momentum indicators also remain constructive.

The MACD recently produced another bullish crossover, with the histogram returning to positive territory. DIF remains above DEA, indicating buying pressure continues rebuilding after the previous pullback.

Although momentum has moderated compared to last week's rally, no major bearish divergence has appeared. This often suggests consolidation rather than trend exhaustion.

Volume remains relatively balanced, showing that profit-taking has stayed under control instead of triggering widespread selling.

KEY PRICE LEVELS TO WATCH

Several important technical zones now define Bitcoin's short-term outlook.

Immediate resistance remains:

• $64,970
• Major resistance near $65,600

A confirmed 4-hour close above these levels could open the door toward:

• $66,000
• $67,000
• Extended bullish projection near $68,000

On the downside, buyers must continue defending:

• $64,400
• $64,330

Below that, stronger support sits near:

• $64,000
• $63,460

If these levels fail, Bitcoin could revisit the previous recovery base around $62,200-$61,320 before attempting another advance.

MACRO CONDITIONS REMAIN A MAJOR CATALYST

Bitcoin continues responding to broader macroeconomic developments.

Investors remain focused on Federal Reserve policy expectations, inflation reports, Treasury yields, institutional ETF activity, and overall liquidity conditions. Softer inflation data has recently improved market sentiment, but any unexpected policy shift could quickly increase volatility across both traditional financial markets and cryptocurrencies.

Institutional participation also remains an important factor. Continued ETF inflows and improving risk appetite could provide additional support if Bitcoin successfully clears nearby resistance.

DISCIPLINE REMAINS THE BEST STRATEGY

After strong recoveries, emotional trading often becomes the biggest risk.

Rather than chasing price after every rally, experienced traders typically wait for confirmation above resistance or accumulate gradually during healthy pullbacks near established support levels. Protecting capital remains just as important as identifying profitable opportunities.

Risk management continues to outperform emotional decision-making over the long term.

FINAL OUTLOOK

Bitcoin continues showing encouraging technical strength while trading around $64,175. The recovery from $61,320 remains intact, higher lows continue developing, moving averages still support buyers, and MACD momentum favors gradual upside continuation.

The next major challenge remains $64,970-$65,600. A decisive breakout above this resistance zone could strengthen bullish momentum toward $66,000, $67,000, and potentially $68,000. However, losing support around $64,300 may trigger another healthy retest before buyers attempt the next breakout.
