As of April 23, the survey statistics on rebar production and inventory

According to Mysteel, as of the week ending April 23, rebar production shifted from decline to increase, with factory and social inventories decreasing for six consecutive weeks, and apparent demand increasing for nine consecutive weeks.
Rebar production was 2.1493 million tons, an increase of 17.9k tons from the previous week, a growth of 0.84%;
Rebar factory inventory was 1.8735 million tons, a decrease of 132.7k tons from the previous week, a decline of 6.61%;
Rebar social inventory was 17.9k tons, a decrease of 222.4k tons from the previous week, a decline of 3.70%;
Rebar apparent demand was 2.5044 million tons, an increase of 120.6k tons from the previous week, a growth of 5.06%.
