U.S. Department of the Treasury Implements a New Round of Financial Sanctions on Iran

According to the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the U.S. Department of the Treasury, local time on April 24, the U.S. issued the latest sanctions related to Iran. Meanwhile, the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control also updated the “Specially Designated Nationals List,” saying that it is part of this round of Iran-related sanctions adjustments. In addition, the U.S. Department of the Treasury also announced sanctions against multiple Iran-related “wallets,” freezing approximately $344 million worth of cryptocurrency assets.
