Iran denies Kalibaf's resignation from the head of the negotiation delegation

A correspondent from CCTV Headquarters learned on the 24th local time that the director of Iran’s Parliament’s Communications, Media and Cultural Affairs Center said that Iran’s Islamic Parliament speaker, Mr. Kalibaf, has not resigned from any post, and that it has not yet been confirmed who will lead the next round of negotiations—whether it will be him or someone else as the head of Iran’s delegation. The official said that the spread of these rumors is intended to disrupt public opinion, and that Mr. Kalibaf is still “diligently carrying out his duties.” On the 23rd, Israeli sources reported that, due to the intervention of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Kalibaf had resigned from Iran’s negotiating team.
