South China Zinc: Weekly arrivals decreased; monitor inventory performance before May 1st.

According to SMM, zinc inventories in South China have significantly decreased within the week, mainly due to the coinciding “March 3rd” holiday and the increase in shipments from some smelters during the week. The reduction in smelter arrivals is the main reason. On the consumption side, high zinc prices have suppressed terminal demand. Going forward, attention will be paid to inventory performance under the backdrop of enterprise stocking ahead of the May Day holiday.
