Bitmine Agrees to Buy 10,000 ETH From Ethereum Foundation for $23.9M
Bitmine Immersion Technologies said it is buying 10,000 ETH from the Ethereum Foundation in an over-the-counter transaction worth $23.9 million. The Ethereum Foundation said the proceeds will support operations including protocol research, ecosystem development and grants. Bitmine said in its Monday report that it bought more than 100,000 ETH last week, bringing its holdings to 4.97 million ETH.
