The Ministry of Commerce and the State Administration for Market Regulation issued the “Action Plan for Standardization of Service Trade (2026–2030).” It mentions that the focus will be on software and information services, data security and privacy protection in digital delivery trade, cross-border flow of data elements, and the construction of digital trade platforms, prioritizing the development of standards and system building. It will explore service scenario standards deeply integrated with new technologies such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality, carry out standardization practices empowered by artificial intelligence in the field of service trade, and accelerate the improvement of institutional and market environments for digital trade development.
