BlockBeats News, April 24 — Iran’s Foreign Minister Alaraghzi will visit Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, but the itinerary also includes Oman and Russia. During this visit, Pakistani officials are working to facilitate a second round of ceasefire negotiations between the United States and Iran.

According to reports by the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), Alaraghzi’s visit begins on Friday, focusing on “bilateral consultations and discussions on the current situation in the region and the latest developments in the war launched by the United States and Israel against Iran.” At present, there is no sign that this will be a second round of talks. So far, only Pakistan and Iran have confirmed meetings between the two sides.

In addition, Iran International Television reported that Kalibaf, the head of the Iranian delegation negotiating with U.S. representatives in Islamabad, has resigned and withdrawn from the negotiating delegation.

According to PolyBeats monitoring, on the prediction market Polymarket, the probability of “the next U.S.-Iran diplomatic meeting” occurring before the 26th is 17%, before the 28th is 33%, and before the 30th is 48%, all of which are lower than previously.
