Iranian delegation heads to Pakistan; prospects for talks unclear

Odaily Planet Daily News: Iranian Foreign Minister Alaraji will lead an Iranian delegation to Islamabad later on Friday evening or Saturday. Previously, there was still uncertainty about the possible second round of ceasefire negotiations between Iran and the United States. Sources say the delegation is expected to arrive around 10 p.m. local time (1 a.m. Beijing time), but it is unclear whether the negotiations are about to begin. Pakistani and Iranian officials held a phone call on Friday to discuss the stalled ceasefire efforts. (New York Post)
