Hey, did you see this? South Korea's tax agency accidentally leaked a Ledger wallet's mnemonic phrase in a press release. I mean, they literally posted a pixelated photo showing the handwritten seed phrase. As a result: $4.8 million disappeared from that wallet.
On-chain data shows that 4 million PRTG tokens were transferred to an anonymous address in the early hours of February 27. Basically, someone saw the announcement, took the recovery phrase, and drained everything. Experts are heavily criticizing, saying that the tax department doesn't even have basic cybersecurity awareness.
It's like, man... a government agency exposes a mnemonic phrase this way and no one notices before publishing? That's kind of absurd. Losing nearly $5 million in assets due to basic security ignorance is really a serious failure. How do you see this kind of negligence?
