*Latest CoreDAO Developments 2025-2026*

CoreDAO is currently focusing heavily on BTCfi, also known as bringing Bitcoin into DeFi. This is the most important update from their H2 2025 roadmap: 0cd6

*1. lstBTC Launch: Liquid Staking Bitcoin*
This is an upgrade from coreBTC. With lstBTC, BTC holders can stake while remaining liquid. So they can earn yield in BTC without losing custody or locking assets. The target is institutional investors who want yield but still want security. 0cd6

*2. Dual Staking Upgrade*
If you stake BTC + CORE tokens together, your yield can increase multiple times. There are tiered rewards depending on the ratio of CORE to BTC you hold. The highest tier = Satoshi Tier, with the highest yield. 18da

*3. CoreFi Strategy*
One of the six main initiatives for H2 2025. Details haven't been fully released yet, but the direction is toward a DeFi-native Core strategy to attract BTC liquidity. 0cd6

*4. Fusion Upgrade*
The foundation for lstBTC. This upgrade allows Core to better handle trust-minimized Bitcoin bridging. Essentially: the BTC bridge to Core becomes safer and more efficient. 0cd6

*Current CORE Token Info*
- *Total Supply*: 2.1 billion CORE, fixed
- *Allocation*: 39.995% for Node Mining over approximately 81 years, 25% for users/airdrops, 15% for contributors
- *CORE Function*: Pay gas fees, governance, staking, and act as the "key" to increase BTC yield in Dual Staking
- *Staking Rewards*: From fixed block rewards + transaction fees, distributed to those staking BTC, CORE, and miners a33818da

This H2 2025 roadmap was posted by CoreDAO on June 26, 2025, on X, so the execution is ongoing from now until the end of 2025. 0cd6
