Lately, I've been a bit anxious about taxes and reporting... Usually one or two transactions are fine, but at the end of the year, reviewing records really drives me crazy. Now I basically take a screenshot every time I cross chains / exchange coins / claim a small airdrop: transaction hash, time, and clearly note "from where to where / why transferred." The amounts aren't exaggerated either; last time I transferred 12.6 USDT to test routing, and when it took 47 seconds to confirm, I kept watching it, and I also saved that record for future reconciliation. On-chain data tools and those tagging systems have recently been criticized for being laggy and potentially misleading, so I don't fully trust them anymore. I'd rather keep an extra hand myself... If it takes a bit longer, so be it; I feel more at ease.
