Lately, browsing on-chain data has been constantly "hanging," and at first I thought it was just my internet acting up... But then I realized it's pretty normal: indexers/subgraphs are essentially just organizing the ledger for you in the background, so they queue up when busy; RPC is more direct, and when rate limiting kicks in, if you request too much, it just stalls you, resulting in pages spinning, balances updating late, and transaction records suddenly not refreshing.

Airdrop season is even more ridiculous. Instead of a witch hunt + point system on task platforms, the degenerate traders are competing like clocking in at work, clicking furiously together. No wonder RPCs are overwhelmed. The information environment is also full of noise. My current noise reduction strategy is simple: compare the same data from at least two sources (official + third-party). If they don’t match, I just ignore it for now to avoid being carried away by emotions. Anyway, I’ll just change the avatar to a duller color first, stay steady...
