Techub News reports that ZK proof software Succinct has launched an iPhone camera app called ZCAM.
ZCAM hashes the original pixels at the moment of photo or video capture and signs them using a key generated by Apple Secure Enclave.
It then generates proof via Apple App Attest service to ensure the signature comes from the ZCAM app itself.
Finally, it embeds the hash, signature, and proof into the file as a C2 PA manifest.
Anyone can independently verify that the media content indeed comes from a genuine device and has not been altered or AI-generated.
Currently, ZCAM is available on the iOS App Store, and users can download and try it out.
