I find people are really quite strange: when they make a little floating profit, they act like they didn't see it, and even complain that it's growing too slowly; but once it turns into a floating loss, even just a little, their mind automatically starts writing a script, and the more they think about it, the harder it is to sleep. Honestly, it's not about having more or less money, but that kind of nagging feeling of "Did I do something wrong," like a lump in your throat.

Recently, seeing the criticism of the staking and shared security setups being called "copycat schemes," I also feel some resonance: watching the profits stack up is satisfying, but when the drawdowns happen, the mindset collapses even faster, feeling like each layer is reminding you "You were greedy." Anyway, I’ve now set a rule for myself: don’t watch the market during loss periods, and if I really want to go all-in, only use money I can treat as tuition... otherwise, I might really wake up scared in the middle of the night.
